Thanks for the positive wishes. They help a lot. For those of you who don't know, I've been a bodyman for 35 years and it's way past time to get off the floor. I've had my appraiser's license for a while now and I've decided it's time to use it to make my living. Again thanks, the power of positive thought is very helpful.

Oh yeah, BigFish! Should I take a couple of extra tall-boys for the interviewer or is he on his own? I'm not sure of the protocal here. Thanks again, guys!

Fred - in addition to all suggestions above, if you are truly interested in this new position/career, make sure it is abundantly clear during the interview that you are (this is not desperate in my opinion).
I conduct alot of interviews at my job looking for new talent and I can't tell you how many times a qualified candidate arrives and shows no enthusiasm for the job. Most times I'll offer the position to a less qualified candidate who shows a strong work ethic/enthusiasm.
Good luck!

I thought that it went well. I had what I thought was a good answer for every question. They smiled and nodded at some of my answers and acknowledged the depth of my experience. I admitted to what I considered my weaknesses and told them outright that I would expect training in their policies and procedures. I'd also expect to draw on their "tricks of the trade". I won't know anything for two weeks, they're just begining the process to find a new hire. The suspense is gonna kill me. And once again thanks for the support everyone, I envisioned all of you behind me the whole time.
