I've been struggling to understand the how's and why's of some of this behavior. My take is this: Some of these criminals have been a thorn in the side of N O for a long time. When Police protection collapsed, they went wild. They're no different than before, just free to do their criminal thing. Others feel totally let down and injured by the Government's slow response. Now they are at "war" with the Government. They shoot at choppers. Just my 2 cents.

Reading reports now that snipers are taking shots at technicians trying to get the cell towers back in operation.  |
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
