Why aren't more effort being put in aid and recovery of New Orleans? Well it's simple, no funds. 42% of flood funds were cut in 2001. Where do you think the funds went? Take a guess...

I heard 21,000 being deployed fromReuters with more to come and flood funds are being cut because the insurance companies consider them high risk areas.

Funds from FEMA was suppose to aid in Natural Disasters like this but 42% of it was cut in 2001 by Bush.

FEMA is currently being investigated for massive fraud dating back to 9/11 and all the subsequent hurricanes since then. How can an agency that gives 29 million dollars away to an area(Miami) that had'nt suffered any catastrify be taken seriously when asking for more $$$$$
