Under Cleaner Settings click the Applications tab go to the box checked Internet and uncheck the box next to Sun Java.You should be all set and back to normal .

I gave bad advice.This program is as close to a virus as you can get without being called one.Avoid.

Works great now that I deleted the stupid CCleaner and reinstalled Java.
Smilies work now.

I chucked it too.It tends to mess with registry values which can create a host of problems including screwing up Java Runtime.When I unchecked Sun Java I had no problems with java except with the Firefox browser which of course is my primary one.
