Try wearing a bulletproof vest and polyester pants. Those things aren't made for comfort. I stood outside waving my arms at an accident last night for over an hour. By the time I got done it looked like I'd taken a shower. I'm sure I smelt like I needed a shower!

We have not had any measureable rain here in 75 days now. I was watering like a madman up to about 3 weeks ago...I could not keep up. I gave up and now my lawn is fried. I hope it comes back. I plan to put in a well this winter and next year should be able to water a lot more.
We had a T-storm a couple weeks ago on one side of town but my house didn't see a drop.
I like dry summers nut this is getting extreme, I like things green.

My sled told me that it was 98 degrees when I hit I-190 after work today at 3:00. When I arrived in Truro at 6:30 it was 79degrees and had been raining. I thought that I would die at work today. Eben, I really don't know how you do it! Another 20 degrees woulda done my old arse in.

Was on the water off of Westport doing a charter with my Bro-in-law and it was very hot and windy. Fishing sucked all blues. Got home to Lakeville and it said 96 on thermo. Air so thick you had to chew it before you breathed it. Went right inside to AC and slept the rest of the day away. Man we need rain so bad. Can't remember the last time we had rain. Has to be months. Paul
