I won't pass up catching fish, but they tear the $#!+ out of your gear. They can $*&^$* some eels (usually on the first cast) and can destroy a whole bag of soft plastics in the same number of casts....

thats why i always carry wire leaders and some tins and cheap poppers from ocean state job lot |
