Question Favorite Jig Mold?

After losing countless jigs ($$$) in the canal and elsewhere I've finally decided to invest in a jig mold and start making my own. I've already got the melting pot and several pounds of lead so it was just a matter of time anyway.

I've always used the Hot Lips or the Ultra Minnow type jigs anywhere from 2-4 ounces. Does anybody prefer one over the other? Or would recommend a different type? I'll probably go with the Ultra Minnow type (like the Spro jigs) unless somebody here can convince me to go with something else. These will get used primarily in the canal.

Thanks,
Rich

It occurred to me that perhaps people don't know what jig type they use or prefer. The link provides a list.

Thanks again.

I like the hotlips,1.5-2.0 oz here in R.I. in the breachways. other than how fast they sink do you think there's a difference? we use upperman or lima bean jigs too( sink faster) the more bucktail the slower they sink. ed.

its no ones fault
