the 1213m is great as a casting rod in its stock length as it loads heavier plugs and eels perfectly. even if cut down a little it is still nice as a caster.

as a spinner, it may feel a little top heavy, thus the wobble after a cast. but, it is a tigher and more popwerful blank than the 1363m cut. either one makes for a nice, durable, rod in the rocks where an occasional bang against a rock will not hurt it.

Rod is not top heavy at all, in fact it is pretty well balanced, don't know what you're talking about with the wobble, casts perfectly for me...

mine wobbles. tonight i took off the 7000 big game and replaced it with a 6500cs mag....... no backlashes, and whooped a couple fish in the mid 20's twice as fast as my 1201L......

This is a great thunderstick.. a tad heavy, but so am I
