I've never decarbed during the season, just with the engine tuner at winter storage time. The engine runs great (unless plugs are shot) so i don't think i will start something different.
Yes i have the bombardier ficht, I will talk to ABBA about it, i see him pretty regularly.

Computer controlled and injected, so there is no adjustment to make.
I can check comsumption, but so far I think its right on..I'll make sure though.
Thanks Guys,
I'm gonna order two sets (rockauto $4.05) so I always have a set ready to go.
The other issue is I have to install the plugs with the ground strap facing away from the injector (180 degrees). Its like musical chairs with spark plugs to get it right.. A major PIA and they don't all quite line up perfectly....

Van,
Don't those plugs have to be "indexed"? That is, the gap must be facing a certain direction on each cyl. On mine you needed to take a felt pen and mark on the white part of the plug were the gap was, then when you tightened them up you needed to make sure the index mark you made was in a certain sector of the head and the torque was within range...if not you had to back it out and put in another plug and try that. Once you got them all right it did make a big difference. I bet there is something like that on yours too.

BTW- WHAT A PAIN IN THE A--THAT IS. Took me 8 plugs to change 6...
And like others said, I found these plugs for $5/ea at sparkplugs.com. Way better than the $25/ea @ west marine.
Hey Jim, to totally hijack, how fast were you using oil on those bad boys?
Thnx.
