Finished my first batch of swimmers...

Here's my first run of swimmers. I had a lot of fun working on these. My dad got a new 'light' rod last fall so I wanted to make some small stuff for when we fish light tackle. I was trying to come in at 1 1/2 oz, and had a tough time doing it.

These are around 5 1/2 inches, and are right at 1 and 1/2 ounces w/ hooks. These will have 2/0 on the belly and a siwash on the tail..

A couple of Pearl, and pink over pearl.

Those look great! I will be trying for the first time soon, and hopefully they will look as nice as some of the ones I've been seeing on here.

Dave - very nice. So did you end up using rattle cans? Those look pretty sweet if they are.

Thanks guys, I got a lot of good info from the board here.

Mike, its krylon for now... They came out nicer than I expected them to. Don't you love when that happens!

The first attempts around here

..are getting better and better!
Those last ones remind me of "fishnets" on a certain hottie I used to know. Ahhh good times, good times.
Sher do miss her though
Perhaps one of those plugs will cheer me up?
