Do you let friends touch your fish after you catch them ?
Well do you ? I stand guard around my catch and don't let anyone go near it.

I had a seagull grab my herring once....OUCH!  It hurt too! |

i was shad fishin once
and this man game over to touch my fish.....just expected it like eveyone else let him touch their fishes.....and i said no! and i put him back in. man was he surprised. dumb bastage!
friggan comes walkin over like his name is already written on it.
then this other time i caught this fantastic trout and this very authentic looking japanese couple came over and sorta wanted to see it... well after several very ceremonious bows and greetings with extremely polite manners.......
(they were dressed like they were very respectable &first visit to america) and then i made a gift of it, to them..... WOW that really blew their minds, that me a total stranger just offered them a beautiful trout only seconds out of the water.... they were extremely grateful as if i had honored them in some supreme way.....then again .....with all the bows and gestures ,,handshakes smiles with no english spoken.
it was kinda like the fishing version of the tea ceremony. |
