The only reason that the price of gas is up is Putin's invasion--this is literally the definition of windfall profits (though in the case of Big Oil, their long support of Putin has helped make that wind blow)

putin invaded in, what, february of 2022? go see what gas prices had been doing before that pete.
biden didn’t wave his hand and cause gas prices to go up. but they went up under his watch, and it’s absurd to say it’s all putin’s fault. gas prices had been increasing well before russia invaded. Of course some of it is putin’s fault, not all of it. sorry.

Before that Putin’s puppet negotiated a rise in the price of crude with Putin and OPEC.

rut roh....
The Economist
Why Republicans are gaining ground in the midterm polls
"It would take a big polling miss, but it would no longer be a shock if they won the Senate"
it's pretty amusing that the dems are now counting on that hooded nut in PA to keep control of the senate

Fettarmen taped an interview with NBC that’s airing today, and the NBC reporter said he had a hard time understanding the conversation.
If you can’t understand a casual conversation, do you really belong in the US Senate?
The democrats got lucky with which senate seats are up. there are twice as many republicans up for re election as democrats. It’s a very fortuitous rotation for democrats. Combined with some weak GOP candidates…
