Pete, the question stands, is that going too fast for you?
The country I'd like (but I'm not so naive to think it's realistic) is one where bad cops get investigated, but also one where heroic cops who display stupefying bravery, are celebrated.
You take issue with that vision?
You're having a very, very rough couple of days here Pete. Not presenting yourself well at all, you're coming totally un-glued. It's not necessary, the left is positioned to do a lot better than what I was expecting...

It’s really simple and I’ll quote you
“ all cops are responsible for what the bad ones do, ”
Yes, they are responsible for allowing it to happen and standing by and not interfering.
Just like the other three officers present at George Floyd’s killing.
This stuff goes on every day.
We have made some progress but as usual the return to status quo is far too easy.
I’m waiting to see a cop get celebrated for stopping his fellow officers misdeeds, not framed or put in harms way

So cops in one state who ran towards fire, are somehow supposed to "interfere" when cops in another state misbehave. That's brilliant, and not even a little bit crazy.

What’s crazy is thinking the status quo will change all by itself.
Spending on law enforcement increases every year and results get worse, so your “conservative” viewpoint is let’s spend more, imprison more, abuse more because……
