Sounds like typical politics. Nothing a Dem wouldn't do.

Disney does the corporate, oligarchic trick. Buy the politician. Disney figures it owns the politician and doesn't need to buy him anymore. Politician says he doesn't need Disney anymore.

When you stop paying for what you want, you don't get any more of it. Works in the market and in politics.

Disney shouldn't have gotten the carveout in the first place. Politics is dirty. That's why people tend to hate it. If you think that DeSantis must be a saint that dares not tread where typical politicians of either party go, you're dreaming in Disney land.
