RNC passed censure resolution of Cheney and Kinzinger without any discussion. Overwhelming voice vote of yes, with a few nos.
The resolution wasn't read or presented. The whole affair took about a minute.
No discussion, no debate, no recorded vote. It's not a political party. It's a herd of sheep.

You're surmising, conjecturing, opining, that there had not been any discussion about the censure previously, that none of them knew what it was about, and they all just decided on the spur of the moment to OK let's censure these guys for the heck of it because Ronna McDaniel says to do it.
I heard the voice vote. It was overwhelmingly yes. There was an underwhelming barely audible teeny no. It was political democracy as usual. That's how democracy works. That's why we were founded as a Republic, not as a democracy. |
