				Chasing flags

Back to back weekends of chasing flags on the south shore, that’s the way I like to get through winter. Today was cold and windy but fish were eating 3 bass,3picks and a couple perch. all good sized but no monsters. Back at it tomorrow. 5” black ice, but other side of pond still had areas of open water. |

 | 12"..with 10" of snow on top, I'm on a 4 wheeler, heated helmet and grips, hole covers on the holes zippo hand warmers help with th set up, I use a Ion these days, but the gear oil was too thick and it wouldn't turn, I carry a eskimo pistol drill flighting powered by a Milwaukee 18 volt drill as a back up and my run "n" gun set up, that cut my holes until it got above 0 and the Ion started to work..its definitely not for the faint of heart.

A good run is better than a bad stand!
