I own a couple. They are great. It is a west coast company and are a real staple for anglers out that way.
I think the owner was a machinist who was a fisherman and the rest is history. He also is a lefty, so all reels come in lefthand versions which i like as although i am a righty, i have fished spinning so long i prefer a left hand retrieve.

Lefty MXL with MC Magic Cast. Has been superb reel. Just have not had the pleasure or time on the water to use it much over past three years.

Joe Fig turned me on to them .Got one over the winter for Togging & sea bass ........light, yet strong >> me stupid . oh so stupid ..........lost 3 lArge tog last week because mechanical me couldn,t adjust the brakes ...... dumb fu ck
