Watch Lindsey Graham interview in 1999 about the importance of witnesses in a senate impeachment trial and his comments yesterday and you have one the most clear pictures of hypocrisy and how far up Trumps arse these guys are. Bitch, bitch, bitch about no first hand testimony and here you have the chance and you don’t want to hear. Swear in front of god and country you will be impartial, go ahead guys I dare you to live up to that oath.

Tell me Scott, since he was impeached in the house and has claimed all along he did nothing wrong, why not call Bolton and others who do have that first hand knowledge. If he is innocent he can prove it, to me it appears to be politics for these senators, they have made the calculation that if they continue to protect a Trump, their chances of getting re-elected are greater.

Apparently it’s not a joke, I’m pretty sure being only three presidents to be impeached, means Trump isn’t laughing about it. So let me ask again and since you feel it’s just a joke, if nothing wrong was done, if you have nothing to hide, why have all the documents and first hand witnesses been blocked? Bolton, Mulvaney, budget witnesses and documents would bury him deeper in this corrupt plan. Politics and desperation at it’s finest.

I don't understand why a defendant should provide anything that he is not required to do. No lawyer would tell his client to do such a thing. No matter how innocent a document might be, there's no telling how it could be used to falsely color or strengthen any other circumstantial evidence. It is to be assumed that if Congress impeaches, it already has the evidence it needs. If it doesn't, then there should be no impeachment.
