Thanks!!! I'll look into the Slammer series.....though on a codfish rod thread I was told they suck and break all the time at the tip....are they better than the 20-50# Ugly Stik? And are they sensitive?? There is a nicely wrapped, 20-50# Ugly Stik Custom 7' Boat rod, its an ugly stik so its wicked strong and pretty sensitive....can't go wrong with this right?

BTW all these rods looked unmatched when hooked up to a Penn 975. People normally use 65# braid with these reels, so do they use heavier rods also in the 20-50# range, or is that too unmatched looking for a reel rated for 15# mono?
