Smelts and Christmas - marriage made in heaven
As far as the bones, I don't worry about 'em. Fry them up to a golden brown, toss a little salt on them and just "inhale" them. Sooooooo good!
Hey Guppy, first batch starts to come out about 4pm.

Cruising through North Scituate Sunday, got hungry, saw a house apparently converted into a restaurant that didn't look like much from the outside but what a gem of a restaurant ....... Corner Bistro, EXCELLENT Italian cuisine! And to my surprise, fried smelts on the appetizer menu. I couldn't believe my eyes, and they were deeeeelicious!
