Actually I think Sessions insulated Trump from being able to do more stupid stuff, like directly interfere in an investigation.
Just think, if Trump had not fired Comey, the Russian investigation would likely be over by now, no special prosecutor would have been appointed, therefore the investigation would have had no opportunity to expand.
Trump did it to himself, almost by himself and his only adviser who agreed was his son in law.

He was repeatedly burned by the left. The Kavanaugh bits stopped him from trying to be a mediator and bridge to a screw it all in type.

Funny how the left hated him and called him a racist, noit his firing is (another) Constitutional Crisis

And what would the outcome have been? How has Trump / Sessions interfered with the investigation?

So he’s pissed? What does that have to do with the truth?

Joke, John and I thought it was pretty funny
Sessions does have the racial attitude of his vintage, generations are changing that.
And what would the outcome have been? How has Trump / Sessions interfered with the investigation?

It might have already been over, we’ll never know
Sessions hasn’t and has acted as a buffer between Trump and the investigation
He has been pretty staunch about being independent and not being beholden to Trump
That’s what he’s pissed about (Trump)
