Look, Brady cheated or someone on the Patriots cheated. Does the punishment fit the crime, NO. Should there be some kind of fine and suspension, absolutely.
So the suspension will get reduced to 2 games, maybe 1. The fine will get reduced to $500K and they will still loose their 1st round pick.

I think the more salient point is that Brady's reputation has been tarnished. Regardless of the adjudication, "you can't un-ring the bell".

Most of the country (except Pats fans) think he's a cheater, including plenty in the media all over the country and former players.
Than you add in the Belicheck Spygate episode, CHEATERS
