Right, since our politicians are, and apparently are expected to be, liars, that means everyone else is. Again, the just like us paradigm. It is amazing how everyone in the world is just like us, yet they're all at each others necks. But that's OK. That's what sibling rivalry is for. Good natured violent competition. Just need the wiser older brother to step in and straighten things out. Big Brother will tell all the irrational little siblings the correct way to act.
Funny how Spence can excuse the Iranians for petty fear mongering, but he thinks Netanyahu's politicking was not excusable and needed the wiser older brother to correct him. Maybe his style was just tooooo different. |

Do not worry about fear mongering your president has it etched in stone that Iran will be the super power of the middle east...they R doing most of fighting in Irag....Yemin is under attack....the Saudis' R worried as is Egypt and your president has thrown Israel under the bus...Obama is a racist, he hates the jewish people and it has nothing to do with Netanyahu speaking to congress...he simply is a racist

Obama didn't throw Netenyahu under the bus, he's just letting him know his place. Bibi has done a lot to inflame the situation in defiance of US action towards peaceful solutions.

Spence, of the Prime Minister of Israel genuinely believes that our actions threaten the very existence of his country, what is he supposed to do? Stand by and hope for the best? |

...it's sad that this president has created a culture where our allies can't trust us...Iran is sponsoring terrorism throughout the region...and this admin is negotiating with terrorists, and not doing so well...surprise......the only thing Bibi has inflamed is the ire of the incompetents in the administration

Easy for you to say. Harder for the Israelis to say.
You are enitled to write the Iranian threats off as political posturing. And the Israelis are entitled to take them at their word, and therefore turn the entire nation of Iran into a smoldering ash heap, before Iran is allowed to obtain the weapon necessary to carry out their threats.
Spence, talk to an elderly European jew sometime, and tell them why they shouldn't believe that a sovereign nation could ever intend to cause them such devastation. That could never really happen, right?
As I said, too bad for Hitler that you weren't our SecState in the 1940s. |
