Lightbulb How to get your password and where the heck is the login??

How to get your password for the new boards?

If you follow this link: http://128.241.205.103/vbulletin/member.php

it will bring you to the password dialogue box. Once you receive your e-mail with the new password, cut and paste it to the password box (in the lower right corner of the screen). Then, once logged in successfully, you can edit your profile and put a simple, easy to remember, password...

Where the heck is the login box??

On the bottom right of the screen - you'll see the login/password boxes...

I like it John , but how do I keep from having to login everytime?

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Bruce, I just noticed that every time back to the board, I have to login to post anything. That will get old fast, what's up with that John? I remember I used to login in to the old board and never logged out, so each time back I just posted at will.

YES! I LOVE that smiley! we definately needed one of them! HA!HA!

anyway as I am totally "duh" on the computer to begin with, boy did I have one heck of a time trying to figure this out! Have to laugh at myself I guess. Not to mention if I had read this post BEFORE trying to read all the others that I missed while on vacation I would have saved myself a LOT of time.....oh well.....

Thumbs up That's the ticket.

That worked, but it's a pain to delete my cookies. Everytime, I try to select all and then delete, I get a message stating the index can't be deleted blah, blah, blah. And of course your board's cookie doesn't sit up and wave at me, so I just selected each one and deleted them all, figuring it might be time for a clean slate anyway.

Hey, it worked. First try, too.

John, I think I prefer logging in as "Mike P" rather than "Mike_P_aka_"DJ"" for some odd reason

This is what I have to do. I put in my password , then when it says returning you to screen , it says click here if you can't wait (or something like that) if i click that in time , everything works fine but if i wait , it doesn't show the reply screen , it comes back up with the enter username and password screen again and again? Maybe this means something to help you out John.

Since I just did this....I should be able to help.

1. Close your browser
2. Find your cookies on your hard drive and delete the cookie for this message board. (They are usually in a temp folder)
3. Reopen your browser and come to this site
4. Log on
5. Go to edit profile and make sure the automatic log on box is checked yes.

You should then be all set, at least that is what worked for me.

Fishpart,

You can also go into "user cp" (next to the bass) and edit options (pretty much the same thing)

It's working for the moment, because I didn't have to login, although I haven't clicked submit reply yet .
