So sorry to hear. There are so many good hardworking people who are getting curves thrown at them. Hope you find a job quickly and one you will enjoy more.

Consolidation. Mergers and acquisitions--Brutal on the workers who get thrown under the big bus as it rolls past. Sorry.

They make it sound all warm and fuzzy about how they will "try" and save so many jobs, and yet THEY don't seem to be affected, THEY keep their jobs, and THEY still get their raises!!!

Company loyalty is a two-way street!
I am expected to be loyal to the company and I expect the company to be loyal to me, but in some cases (now more than usual) the company's loyalty is to themselves!

Chock it up to a life experience, move on the best way you can, and make sure you cash their check ASAP!!!!

Hopefully you can find something equal, if not better, in the very near future.
