I'm in Philly right now and have to drive to RI tomorrow morning. Not looking forward to it at all.

naaaah... I'm headed to the package store!

Turn on the news and its...."It's the Polar VORTEX!" Its a POLAR PLUNGE!!! IT IS WINTER BLIZZARD JANUS!!! Global warming, Global cooling, EL Nino, La Nina "
CALL FEMA ...its all George Bush's fault!

Good Lord. It is just snow. It is winter, it is suppose to snow. The earth is fine, it gets warmer it gets cooler. There have been heat waves and ice ages, droughts and floods. I suspect it will continue. The planet is still evolving. I would be more worried if we had a static planet and nothing changed. The news should say...weather looks questionable for boating tomorrow...better break out a pair of boots and a shovel.

Ready? No. Eben be careful on the road Philly/Central NJ are in the up to 14" belt. I've shoveled 8" so far, fortunately pretty light stuff.
