They popped up when I searched for the plugs Swimmer mentioned. You can find them used pretty often for short money.

I've fished a couple old large Goo-Goo's on wire at Sow & Pigs reef before with little luck compared to a standard Gibb's troller. I also think they fished them in 10 feet or less of water right in the rocks. Crazy to think how shallow they fished the reef back then without electronics. Hairy place to be at night even with electronics.
