Thanks guys, I know it's reliable, except for the 07 engine, and the size I'm looking for, but wanted to get your opinion on road ride and mileage or any other opinions you might have about the truck'

2011 Xterra pro 4x - purchased last November @ 20 K miles, currently at 38 k miles. No issues to report - got the extended warranty to 120k to be safe - as i pack on miles to work.
So far not bad - my prior ride was a Yukon.
Gas mileage 15/20 highway - ride good, a bit "squirrely" on the highway in the snow i found, but gets me the 50 miles highway drive to my job the past 10 months.
Had in the sand 2 weeks ago on MV. Got around OK but it's not the same beast as the Yukon was.

JPI,
Send Dad Bomba a PM. He can fill you in. He's an engineer that likes details, so I'm sure he can answer most anything you can think to ask.

Mikey, that is very kind of you but I just came back from buying an F150.
I got 17 years out of my 96 F150 and feel comfortable with Ford knowing I got 120,000 on it with little trouble except a steering box and a front end work at 95,000.
I like the looks of the xterra, a real sport truck but no bed to take stuff to the dump with.
Thanks again, All you guys are the best.

Yup, I would have stayed with the full-sized model, myself. Mikey's 4 Runner is pretty sweet, though.
