They have nice wood and in the store you can pick the exact piece yourself (vs mail order where they pick). They are expensive though unless that particular species and size piece are on sale. Every month they have a sales flyer that has some wood deals. Some are good , some great , some just a buck off. So you have to shop. Personally I would not look at them as a source for plug wood due to the cost.

Good source for hardwoods etc. You will need deep pockets if you intend to buy lots. I use them for birch dowels if I want to turn a few needles, but they do not have AYC or Poplar in the price range you will want to be in.

springfield has great choices of hardwoods, if the lumber you looking for is for plug turning a lumber yard. if pool some $$ worth the trip to Liberty,great stuff.
