I was fishing a few weeks ago on a lake here in TX. At dusk I saw a huge animal swimming to shore, it came ashore and it was a beaver. I never realized how freaking big they are. thing must have weighed 60-70 lbs

My brother was attacked by beavers, not once, but twice, in the CT River.

I've had regular encounters with them fishing the CTR in the spring. I've never had one get really aggressive with me but they do scare the hell out of you when they tail slap a few feet behind you. Knowing they are around is usually enough to get me to move to a new spot, they are certainly big enough that i wouldn't want to mess with one. |
