Definitely not deer, horse, or greenheads. I think those lil basstages are fast though. They look like a tiny housefly. I heard they laid down a bit at Race PT. Yesterday. Maybe it had something to do with that crazy heat wave. It strikes me odd that everyone in such a wide spread area from north to south and land to sea had such an issue with them on Sunday?? Two tornados in Western MA this year as well. Something funky is going down.
