yea someone could argue its says plug building forum ... not plug painting forum .. I would hope any entrys would have had to go through the thought process of weighting , thru wiring or rigging, lip selection if a metal lip,, and some testing . Some peoples painting skills are stella but its more than that ..

Maybe there should be a category for "rebuilds". Why squash a guy's creativity?

Thats a good entry level idea .. But keep it seperate from the scratch builder who's wracking his brain trying to make something that swims decent ..

you won't upset my apple cart
if you want, come over here and use my lathe, it does a good job of collecting dust, machines are meant to be used. I'm home all weekend
