That would go a long way towards satisfying the progressive wing of that party. A long way. He can't pick a moderate (not that there truly are any). He might need to throw a bone to the Bernie supporters.

If he picks Warren hes a fool , the right hopes he does but honestly she did so poorly in the primarys there is no benfit ... now if he picked the burn. That would be different

'there is no benfit "

Yes, there is enormous political benefit. Selecting her would please two key groups on the left - women and progressives.

You have it exactly backwards. As a Republican, I hope he selects Bernie. No ticket with Bernie on it, has any chance in any general election. He wants a revolution, and people between the coasts ain't asking for a revolution.

Guess you didn't pay attention to the primaries

People hate Warren on equal footing with Hillary

Swing voters wouldn't see sanders as a socialist threat as VP. The right would of course use this angle ...

But I dont see the biden thinking about sanders and Sanders thinking about VP

So there's nothing to argue

I pay very close attention. Biden isn't going to pick Sanders. First, your side is so obsessed with identity, that they can't have a ticket of two old white men. Second, the progressives don't like Biden, he's not liberal enough. He needs to balance his ticket by moving it way to the left. The progressives would prefer Bernie (based on primary results) but it can't be two old white men, and Biden already promised publicly he'd pick a woman. So what woman? The smart choice, would be the woman with the most appeal to Bernie supporters. That's probably Warren.

The fact that the Democrats have to appeal to the most extreme progressive wing, is a massive albatross around their necks. If they could nominate today's version of Bill Clinton (smart, charismatic, moderate/populist on the issues), that person would win the general election in a landslide (I voted for Clinton). But such a person has zero chance in the primaries of the current democratic party. Zero chance.

"People hate Warren on equal footing with Hillary "

In my opinion, not on your side. They just liked Bernie better.

"Swing voters wouldn't see sanders as a socialist threat as VP."

I'd love to hear your justification for that statement.

"But I dont see the biden thinking about sanders and Sanders thinking about VP"

Because Biden said it would be a woman. He can't go back on that promise.

Your post was directed at me. We all recognize it. I said I would only respond. Which I did.

SD agreed to stop calling people names. He can't help himself.

Yes, I am sure it was.

I'm not triggered. I just see no reason to take your snarkyness.

Yet when I choose not to take someone else's snarkyness, you say I'm angry. It must be very convenient to enjoy a benefit that you deny to others.

The difference is that you start it with your posts. I don't.
