				 | Wish I was spending it with the kid. Or be at home working on my boat.
Unfortunately, I've been sick for the last two weeks (just getting better), nobody wants to be near me, and I don't want to be near anyone.

Today is technically 14 days since I started feeling badly, so I still have a few more to go.

Have fun everybody...I have a software release on Tuesday, so I've had plenty of work to keep me busy for the last two weeks.

 | This is my third wsm, they last about 6-7 years each. These are great smokers vs an egg or komodo cooker. Seems like some great options out lately

				 | Finally have had time to keep the saw running to deal with the close to two dozen trees hammered by tornado almost 2 years ago. Making headway now. Lots of space in the woods now so boys and i are planning our 3 basket/9 tee frisbee golf course. Not looking forward to the chords of splitting to come. |

				 | Hit a local pond today, unusually calm, 15 big pickerel keep my hair jig from working any magic on a bass, but with 49 degree water it’s pickeral prime time. Had my lunch in a cove where eagles have nested for years, they voiced their displeasure for the car top convention, as at ten am I was lucky to even find a pull off on the narrow dirt road that follows one half of the pond. Rain day tomorrow and I’m running out of honey do’s, might get some tackle ready for sea bass and schoolie season. |

LOVE my pellet grill. easy peasy. Although you will likely want to get one of these for more smoke (if that's your pleasure)
https://www.amazon.com/MAZE-N-Pellet.../dp/B007ROPJ1M . I find w/o the AMPS I don't get enough smoke flavor for my taste. With it it's perfect.

Plus you can do very low temp smokes for burgers and such. Even cold smokes (which I haven't messed with yet)

I'll smoke fresh ground burgers at 160-180 degrees for a few hours (until they get to 125) then sear for smokey juicy perfection. |

				 | Burning piles of brush. Cutting trees. Clearing a new field. Worked on the diesel tractor. Working on the brush mower, lawn tractor, lawn mower. It never ends. I haven't even started on the 6 chain saws.
Fortunately I have a 1/2 cord of dry wood in the big garage so I light the stove, put on sports radio and work indoors, sometimes all day.

				 | Went by the nursing home where my 93 year old Mom is a resident. No visitors allowed in of course. So my brother and i went around back and found the window to her room which is at ground level. We tapped on the window to get her attention and when she turned and saw us she gave us a great big smile.Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device

I've heard that pellet grills fall a but short on smokiness, but Weber is saying (of course) that their pellet grill solves this. |

Yup exactly. The pellets in the firebox burn pretty cleanly since it's forced air induction. You light the tray, let it burn for 20-30 min, then blow it out and it smokes for a good 10-12 hours when fully loaded.

				 | Spent today going thru every miscellaneous cubby, draw, box, can, shelf and organized tools, nuts, bolts, screws, I’m running out of “fun” haha stuff to do on these rainy days. I don’t think I’ve ever been this far ahead on inside and outside work before April rolls around. |
