It's a difference. He apologized for it after people were offended by it. Not much less sincre than a politician apologizing after their staffers tell them that apologizing is politically necessary.
Spence, there are millions and millions of people like me, who don't like it when Trump does those things. You're trying to convince yourself that we're all bad because it's easier for simpletons to feel they lost to "bad", or to "hate", than admitting they lost a principled contest to decent people who just made a different choice.

It was in the articles, and then they specifically removed it.
Again, if a guy running for president robs a bank in another country, is it "bribery" for the sitting president to ask that country to find out what happened? A sitting president, our chief executive, isn't allowed to ask for an investigation into a political rival? Never, under any circumstances? It's always "bribery"?
How about Biden bragging that he explicitly threatened to withhold aid unless they fired a corrupt lawyer? The way Biden was bragging, obviously he thought that helping oust that prosecutor would help him politically, and therefore economically. Why wasn't that also "bribery"? |
