Champagne has never tasted sweeter........I am numb right now....just flabbergasted! What a great game......I feel as if a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders! The final out was made and Fishchick, my sister and I popped the cork on a bottle of champagne and just let this victory slowly wash over us....I still can't believe it is true! Could it possibly get any better than this?  |

You know Flap Dan took a little of grief but your are right those two moves Pedro and Varitek and Lowe were great moves. Theo is an awesome GM, I just hope they can find a way to sign both of these guys.

I still can't believe it..Although when Damon hit the homerun in the 1st inning it was like a big relief..It kinda of changed the game right there.... ...I have been waiting for this for years..I remember 1967..The impossible dream...1978,1986 ect...I am a homey...This was sweet..Especially beating the evil empire at there home..And then going on th SWEEP!!!!i Only wish my Dad & Father in law (ex) were still around although I know they are enjoying this up there...Sorry for the rant....

SKD...you forgot to mention 1975 and 1972...the season Aparicio fell rounding 3rd base, missing an opportunity to score, winning the game and putting the Sox into the playoffs!  So many disappointments....so little time! |
