Professor M

I need to thank Professor M for all that he has shared with me in the past years. The biggest thing that has changed the way my process goes is the notebook. List sizes, weights, locations for hooks, weights, eyes, slopes, and anything that will help you duplicate the first lure you have made.

I recently came up with a paint scheme that changes the way I go about painting lures. I painted three lures and waited a week to try it again. I looked at the notebook and realized I didn’t write down any of the procedures. I took me another week to figure out what I did and wrote down the steps so I could repeat the process.

As we all know, it’s not only the notebook. When you think of all of the Jigs (sanding, table saw, wire bending etc…) that he shared with SB. They make the process of building lures so much easier and more precise.
