NEW YEARS DIP!!!

Went in this morning at Nantasket Beach with two of my boys, the others aren't as crazy as their old man. Water temp 40.5, air temp 34, real windy at 44 mph - wind chill 23.

2013 is going to be a year of firsts so why not start with a first time New Years Plunge - Talk about invigorating and a lot of fun!

You can see how windy it is from the picture of my youngest boy with his long hair blowing all over the place.

Wishing everyone a happy and healthy New Year!

Supposedly washes away all of the "irish sins". You've have more..............well, actually now you have less than what I do. All kidding aside, that takes a lot of courage.

Thanks guys! Wasn't bad after getting a towel to dry off, wind was really blowing. A few of my old friends from Southie have been doing it over thirty years with the L Street Brownies. They said it has gotten totally crazy over there now, can't get a parking spot or inside the Bathhouse unless you are there a few hours early. They are actually pretty funny, they do once a month all winter long. They start at friends house about two blocks from the beach and one of them plays the bag pipes and leads them down the street in their bathrobes, too funny.

Like I said this was a first for me and we had a lot of fun, the kids are getting a kick out of talking about it with their friends.

Happy New Year!
