a needlefish...

thanks spence

made from maple. .20 oz weight near the back and a smaller one in front of the belly hook.. length is just under 6" and they weigh 2.3 oz with hooks.. sink reeeeaaaaalll slllooowwww with the nose angled up about 30 degrees from parallel..

I might be small.... but I'm slow.

made to look like a southern mullet.. won't work north of VA

novice ? If your thinking about how it behaves in the water I say not . I think a slow sinker is the most versatile needle in most conditions . There's a place in the world for floaters and sinkers but you gotta have a slow sinker . Daytime testing before fishing those night tides is key .. good job ..
