For Sale: ZeeBaas ZX25

  • ZeeBaas ZX-25
  • Bail-less (single roller pick-up)
  • Black
  • Left-Hand Retrieve
  • Bought in 2011
  • $500
Cosmetics: Near-pristine; no dings or scratches except some shine on the very ends of the feet where they contact the reel seat, and a hint of shine under the hook-keeper.

Function: Handle barely turns; needs lubricant and main bearing might need replacement. Drag requires work as well (loose).

After many years of Van Staal use, I couldn't get used to the "palming" required to apply drag on the ZeeBaas, so I shelved it in lieu of my VSs – unfortunately I didn’t send it for service before banishing it to the basement, where it has slept untouched for about 15 months. Just want to get rid of it.
  • No trades, please.
  • Money order or cash only.
  • Prefer face-to-face sale, so price does not include shipping; if shipping required – buyer and seller will negotiate.
