Interesting observation

Today is the first day that the squirrels are collecting acorns like crazy here at the shop. Wonder if it's got to do with the storm. No bats this morning either.

Lots of acorns in the yard today after the wind last nite. Usually a sign of a hard winter to come, at least that is what I always heard. Probably easier for them to pick them up on the ground than in the trees.
