Reel review

happy holidays everyone thought I would take the time and show you a line of reels I’ve been using , I get them on Amazon Seaknight yes they are made in China

this is the newest high speed reel 6.2:1 ratio, its a 4000 , the older models 5000 I have used are like 4.7: 1. them for albies Black Sea bass and small bass and blue fish also bigger bass on the 6000 model

They are solid and tight with good drags ( I grease them anyway)
And are under 40 bucks , so I am not worried when in the hands of non fishermen or women who tend to drop or bend bails. And these will be my charter reels if that happens by spring. These are great starter reels for kids 100% nicer than any Walmart combo

How long have you been using them? I'm just curious about longevity. I understand they are inexpensive but it would be a bonus if they were actually built to last more than a season or two.

Ive got several 3 years old still good and I don’t wash my gear after every Trip, I’ve got 2 5000 and 1 6000 new in the box if you want to try one 30 bucks , or just swing by for a look you need to honestly handle one ,

I also haven’t tried to tangle with 40in bass but multiple albies haven’t burned them up.. let me know
