Blurple Mureel

Took a shot at a mureel. I got interested in the plug after seeing Capesams post a few months ago (thanks CS). The recent thread on the plug also got me thinking. Thanks for the inspiration guys.

AYC, 9 inches long, 2.8oz w/o hooks.

that's a pretty good job making it from just pictures.
I'd shorten the lip in half, it sticks out too far IMO

Thanks guys. It was an experiment. The lip is a danny 2 lip and I had to use the high slot. Not sure if that was a good idea or not. I took it for a swim at the local pond and it swam right on top with a fairly wide wiggle. Made a huge V wake. It had a little roll but not bad.

How would cutting the lip back effect the action?

That's great!
I guess you don't need to since it swims good, I didm't know it was a danny lip. The originals seem to have a shorter lip.
I'll have to try one with the danny lip too.
