some very fat danny's

Going with the theme that bigger is better, (and it was last year for me) these ones are as wide as I can make out of my ayc ballister stock.

5 1/2, around 2 3/4 oz, they will have the heavy 6x 4/0 vmc's on the belly, tail will either be another big treble or a big stainless dressed siwash. I hate watching the dressed vmc's rust..

This is it for the metal lips for me, I need to get going on a few rods and then I gotta start messing with needles.

Karl if it looks like one of BM's then I'm doing something right.

I made a slim and a fat danny last year and while they are both 5 1/2 inches, the dinks left the fat ones alone. I started to think it was kind of like culling the herd.

So I figured I'd take it try and take it a step further and make one as fat as I could and see what happened. Its gonna take a big fish to inhale these ones

Those are gonna slay. Very nice work.
