The Great Karnak foresees a pivot to Trump, instead of just admitting that’s pretty messed up.

he joked that you’d be physically incapable of commenting on it. And lo and behold, you couldn’t comment.

Wayne what are you afraid would happen, exactly, if you just said “that’s creepy”?

On Truth Social, the former president attacked American Jews for being insufficiently supportive of him. “Wonderful Evangelicals are far more appreciative of [Trump’s record on Israel] than the people of the Jewish faith, especially those living in the U.S.,” Trump said.

U.S. Jews have to get their act together and appreciate what they have in Israel — Before it is too late!”

Trump has regularly spoken about American Jews as if Israel is their country, rather than the United States.

But but Biden

Like I said the pettiness is comical and sad

TDF said you’d pivot to trump rather than address the topic, and naturally you didn’t let him down.

Again, since you dislike bigoted remarks, here's Biden describing Obama in 2007...

"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man"

Spin that as not bigoted. I'll wait, man.

Was it inarticulate and meant to be a compliment or mean spirited?

I'm guessing a compliment.

Was this meant to be a compliment or a mean spirited insult?

I have no idea, I'm not a mind reader. Is it the only time Biden ever accidentally said something that might be considered offensive to blacks? Why did Biden say to a roomfull of blacks, "Republicans want to put y'all back in chains"? Why did Biden say "y'all" to that audience? Would he have said y'all to a room full of whites?

How about when Biden said "you ain't really black if you're not supporting me"?

I have no idea what Biden's intentions were.

"I'm guessing a compliment."

Naturally that's your guess.

Is that other quote Trumps? I don't know that one. Again, I'm not a mind reader, I don't know what his intent was.

So I say, let's come up with one common standard that we apply to all politicians. Either both those quotes are OK, or they're both offensive. I'm OK with whatever standard we want to come up with, as long as it's applied equally. Personally, I think we all need to thicken our skin and talk more about policy results and engage in less character assassination, but again, if we want to say these things are bad to say, fine, but apply the same standard to everyone.

But here on this forum, you guys will always do what you did here, give the benefit of the doubt to the democrat, and always assume the worst about the republican. And obviously there are plenty of republicans who do the same exact thing, but I don't think there are any here. The blind, rapid partisans who think their side is always right and the other side is always wrong, those are al liberals here. I don't know of any conservatives who are that thoughtless.

It sounds like you don't know. Biden's comment was a compliment to Obama. The other quote was from Trump and was widely criticized for being racist given it was said to Blacks who were born here.

“it sounds like you don’t know”…

Well, i said “i have no idea”, so it’s no great riddle you solved. Do you know? You know what’s in people’s hearts?

Saying he’s never before seen a clean, articulate, good-looking black man…what does that say about every single other black person he’s ever met?

i’m sure trump was criticized. Because he doesn’t get the breaks you give to any democrat. that’s my point.

liberal=good,,conservative=bad, we get it.

Trump said 1000 insults for every one that every other Pres. has said. So to compare something Biden said without recognizing that our last president said a thousand times worse makes no sense. If you think that's your liberal = good. conservative = bad so be it

Aha! so it’s not that offensive, racist insults are necessarily bad. you’re saying each politician gets a few freebies, but then after that, those comments are bad. And biden is still below the allowable
number.

same with kids in cages. it was ok when obama did it, but because Trump did it more often, that was a crime against humanity.

That’s very convenient for you paul. come on.

what the number of racially offensive comments that’s allowed? out of curiosity…

Right inarticulate and racist. And Jim has commented how many times on it? 25? And you have made snarky comments about it how many times?

So Biden has paid a price for saying it, right?

Seems like you and Jim have a different standard for who says something. Biden gets criticized for saying a few things and Trump gets criticized the same amount for saying 1,000 times more things.
