When do the stripers reach Maine?

I've got a boat/surf trip tentatively planned for June 12-14 in southern Maine. Think the stripers will be in in force? I've had good luck in late June, early july. Whadda ya think?

Already heard reports of people catching in NH so hopefully Maine will get some fish this year. Good Luck

Weather is supposed to warm up this week and I've heard the same reports about NH so you should be OK for mid June up there.....

From reports I have received there are schoolies in Maine now. Yesterday I was watching a video that was made five days ago of stripers being caught in southern New Hampshire

Bait in the rivers around Portland, right now. Means schoolies are under there too. Good fly fishing on lightweight tackle can be had in the estuaries at least as far north as Casco Bay. I'll be drifting the local waters this weekend. By mid June the schoolies should be pretty well into the southern waters. Big fish are more apt to be found in July. If they come inshore this season .

72 hrs of fishing SoCo, not a felony in all 50 states.

Thanks you guys. I fish southern Maine for stripers the first 2 weeks in August every year. Wouldn't be my first choice of 2 weeks for fishing there, but it's great for the whole family and it's the highlight of my year. I've also been making a June and Sept weekend trip each year. Mid September has proven the best action.
