Who takes a victory lap on piles of corpses?

Trump says he now expects "around 60,000, maybe 65,000" American deaths from the coronavirus. He indicates he'll proclaim any total under 100,000 as a reflection of what a great job his government did.

Just who is this guy?

The same guy who bragged on 9/11 that, after the destruction of the World Trade Center, he now owned the tallest building in New York. (That was false.)

The same guy who gave a eulogy at his father’s funeral about how great it was his father had him as a son.

The same guy who said to the mother of a dead soldier that the soldier “knew what he was getting into when he signed up, but I guess it hurts anyway.”

The same guy who went to a service for the Pittsburgh synagogue massacre victims and tweeted about well he was received there.

The same guy who went to an El Paso hospital to visit victims of a mass shooting and bragged to the staff about the size of the crowds at his rallies.

The same guy who visited a museum exhibit on the Dutch slave trade and said, “you know, they love me in the Netherlands.”

The same guy who cut and ran on the Kurds. Leaving them to slaughter.

The same guy who pardons war criminals and fires heroes who are crying out for help.

The same guy who bragged he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and it wouldn't lose him any supporters. What healthy mind would even think that way??

I suggested not long ago Trump and his supporters would spin this regardless of the out come

1) a lot of deaths Trumps bold actions saved us from more deaths

2) deaths less than the models Trumps bold actions saved us from more deaths

No different than when Tump supported the stay at home orders his faithful saw it as a strong leadership taking charge saving Americans lives this was 4 days ago

Now Trump suggests we've turned the corner his supporters now see the stay at home orders as tyranny and conveniently Trump agrees .. this dear leader worship is disturbing

Did you predict that anti-Trumpers would spin it as a victory lap on piles of corpses?

Saturday 4/18/20 1730 Just cannot believe what I am hearing coming out of a President's mouth. Wants to be larger than the pandemic.... Very sad.

“Americans have the right and advantage of being armed, unlike the people of other countries, whose leaders are afraid to trust them with arms.” – James Madison.

Wayne, let me show you how fair I can be.
In my opinion, Trump prevented as many deaths as he caused in regards to this pandemic.
Wow, that was easy.
Would you like to try?

I stopping watching his “briefings” a long time back, I’m actually surprised they don’t need overhead wires to keep his inflated ego from tipping over. This is just more of his Trump reality TV show, if those on the right can’t see through this BS, their heads are so far down in the sand it’s a wonder they can breath.

When they modeled the 100-250k, I thought to myself, “I wonder if they are intentionally setting this up to make 50k not look so bad??”

I posted a newspaper article maybe 15 days ago that questioned where those numbers come from when the White House announced that estimate and asked if the WH was throwing out a high number so if it came in less than that they would look like they saved lives.

On September 11, 2001 Two thousand nine hundred and seventy seven Americans died.
This week we had a one day total of FOUR THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY ONE DEATHS.
You ought to ask why.
Look at the evidence of inaction.
If you think that is the big number you are dreaming.
Trumps inaction has killed thousands to date and his desperate incompetent attempt to reopen the economy will kill thousands more.
He claims he is deserving of praise.

Are you among those willing to step forward and die to enable this clown to further his agenda?

Godspeed to you

The WHO missed it too. The numbers came from Fauci(plant).
But thanks to preparedness over 60,000 have recovered from covid19

Wayne, in late february, Pelosi went on TV and encouraged her constituents to come out to Chinatown. This is not in dispute.

Now, if liberals are saying it was negligent for trump to not order a lockdown in january, how can pelosi’s comments in february not also be reckless?

can’t wait for your reply.

here’s a link to what pelosi said on Feb 24h.

So under Trump’s leadership we’re likely to enjoy a 50% mortality rate.

And this is the best ever.

I didn't say that anyone was calling for a lockdown in January. I said that liberals, today, fault Trump for not doing enough in January. Now if Trump should have known in January to do more than he did, shouldn't Pelosi have known on Feb 24 not to encourage residents to go to crowded places? Same with Diblasio.

You have issues with context Pelosi response was to defend Chinese americans

Trump's use of her comments were why go to an area and mingle with the Chinese who brought the virus

oh, i took it out of context.

on feb 24, did she say “ let’s stop being bigoted”, or did she say it was safe to hang out in chinatown?

which was it?

your side is currently saying that back in january, trump should
have known to impose a lockdown. you have nothing to say when a democrat says a month later, that crowded public places are safe.

orange man bad.

you lie like Trump does so much so you think your telling the truth

President Donald Trump is making false and exaggerated claims about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Feb. 24 trip to San Francisco’s Chinatown. Pelosi urged people to shop and eat there at a time when tourism was suffering because of the novel coronavirus, which originated in China late last year.

Did someone say lies?

Kayleigh McEnany@PressSec · 22h
The United States has conducted more than 4 MILLION coronavirus tests thanks to the leadership of President @realDonaldTrump.

This is DOUBLE the numbers of any other country!

On March 6th Trump* announced at the CDC that "Anybody that wants a test can get a test"

On March 21st The Trump* administration PROMISED we’d have 27 MILLION tested by the end of March.

But congratulations on reaching fifteen percent of your own goal, and just a half month late.

And you say I never praise him..........
