Depends what's wrong with it. If the gears are trashed,and that is what happens to most of them,then it's either dump the reel or sell it to someone like me that is looking for spare parts other than the gears. Call me at (408) 313-5411 and maybe I can talk you through the problem.I've had a many of them apart.If I think it's fixable you could send it to me and I would do my best.But like I said if the gears are toasted then the reel is pretty much a gonner'.
