I owe ,,I owe

some past promises .. take me all winter to catch up .. knocked off a couple of Chumbuckets.. This is a long slim plug 8.5" ,, I've caught some smaller,, mid size fish on it ,, nothing large yet .. I don't care if it catches .. I throw this one for myself ... swims really nice .. I keep making this plug to fish and give others the experience .. chances of landing a real Chum are slim ..Trying a surfster lip proto. very rare... Shown with 6" predator..

The Ditch Troll skin plugs are something I've been working on all last winter/spring/summer... I think this is it ... Trolls are ugly and catch fish ..These plugs in the water is a thing of beauty .. Had a positive experience last summer .. I was flanked by some world class pluggers and one pro chunker (always catches) on a slow fish eve.. All got skunked ,,,except myself landing 3 fish and 1 large caucasian (me)..When the bite is slow ,,to the skin plug I go ...

Tagger are you putting a hook on the end of that chain or are you using it just to keep the skin shaped? Plugs look great!!!

skin plug weighs 2.4 naked ... Original was a 2 belly hook design and I put the brass chain in the tail so it wouldn't foul on the cast ,, (stay back) .. looked good in the water and caught so I kept it ,, even though I'm single belly hook now ... Chain will take a mustad stainless ... been there too . but prefer it with just the single belly hook .. its an option .

Thumbs up

Eddie, that "alien predator" would just tick any fish off.

Did you swim the surfster lip yet.

Thanks Tagger, I remember that Chum pluggage swimming in P-town harbor. It was unreal. I needed a photo to remind me to copy it. Those skin plugs...OMG! Thanks for the tail tip, too.

b/w...about 25 years ago..went to D+R a got a pick-up truck load full..800.00? to make hutches and dinning room table etc...not much left over, but managed to drag a few pcs. home before the fire which took the rest of the scrap...anyway...had enough to make some 54's and 3 master lure non-jointed eels....if u have any woodworkin shops around u....pay them a visit....what they all waste...is gold for plugs....cherry too...3/4 x 3/4 needles.

BOAT fish do count.

Great look on the skin plugs.... I like the Idea of just the belly 1hook...I rigged a bunch of needles like that this year, they worked pissa.
