Also on doxy for 30 days, about 15 days left. asked my Veterinarian about the $75 shot to prevent lyme in my dog to see if I could get one. (I smell scam)
Only good news about lyme disease i've heard lately is this.
Fungus kills Lyme disease-carrying ticks

Lime
I had it 2 years ago, not fun. Knocked the crap out of me, had stage two by the time I was diagnosed. 30 days of antibiotics not fun either but I recovered 100%. Some not so lucky with long lasting effects. I use DEET all the time now, do not want to get it again!

Battling Lyme RIGHT NOW it's fantastic!
On Doxy for the 4th day... it doesn't both me at all (so far)
But the four days before I started taking the meds were torturous. Uncontollable chills, high fever, relentless, horrible headache and a target on my shoulder the size of a softball. Best thing I ever did was get on those pills.
